This 5 needles felting tool is an excellent tool for flat surface needle felting.  It is particular for 2D wool felt painting.  

The multi needle felting tool come with 5 very fine felting needles (40G/42G). 5 needles makes quick work in particular for flat surface felting. The good design shape works very well and feels very comfortable in the hand. It has a spring type action which allows the fibres to mesh with the base fabric. Features a safety lock devise to secure the cover over the needles.  The retractable sleeve protects you from the sharp needles during storage but stays on during use so it doesn't get lost.
